I was greeted by Marco who was wonderful at helping me find some great used clubs for my son. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, explaining which set would be best and why. I felt assured I was getting quality clubs for a good value. Tucker was also a good help at checking us out when returning for custom grips. Overall I am so grateful for their assistance and service. I came in near closing time after my daughter’s shaft came out of her Ping G430 Max driver, and Dre was an absolute lifesaver. He spent a solid hour carefully removing the stuck hosel piece, reinstalling the shaft, and making sure everything was set to neutral and tournament-ready.
My daughter starts a three-day event tomorrow, so the timing could not have been more critical. Even more impressive, there was no charge for any of this work—totally unexpected and incredibly generous.
Because of Dre and the level of service here, I will spend as much of my golf money as I can at The Golf Mart in Escondido. If you care about the game and want knowledgeable, professional people in your corner, this is the place. Highly recommend!

I just started playing golf this summer and was honestly nervous about going into a golf store because of the horror stories I’ve heard about beginners being treated poorly. That’s definitely not the case at Golf Mart. I’ve been coming here since I started, and every visit has been a great experience.
Originally, I was planning to buy a used set of clubs off Marketplace, but I decided to stop by Golf Mart first to support a local shop — and I’m so glad I did. I ended up finding a better set of irons for an even better price than what I was going to buy online. James was awesome — he spent a solid 30 minutes with me on the simulator, walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and made sure I left happy and confident with my purchase.
The next time I came in, Dan helped me out. He was super knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the game — the kind of energy that makes you want to head straight to the course. He helped me pick out the perfect wedge and even regripped a few of my clubs, which made a huge difference.
A little later, I stopped by again to pick up a putter and was helped by James once more. He actually remembered me from my first visit, followed up to see how I was liking the irons, and then helped me find a putter that I absolutely love.
All in all, this place is fantastic. I’ve definitely spent more money here than I planned, but honestly, it’s worth every penny. The team here genuinely cares about helping you play better and enjoy the game.
I’m already eyeing a new driver, and I can’t wait to come back and see what they recommend next. Every visit here feels like you’re learning something new and getting better at the game.

Came here for a club fitting and met expert Vic Calicchia who for an hour observed and measured my swing. Then he made recommendations for clubs and shafts. He also made a number of suggestions for my swing's improvement. After buying the club setup and applying his coaching I've had an immediate, dramatic improvement in my game. Golf Mart's selection, inventory and pricing seemed very good. And Vic's coaching and recommendations were remarkable.

Excellent golf shop!! They helped my son get fitted with the right size clubs and ordered one from another store that was out of stock at this location. There is a putting green and simulated driving range for trying clubs out.

My wife and I usually go to the one in Mission Valley, but the staff there was not very helpful at all. We were in Escondido for my daughter's dance performance and saw there was a golf mart there, so we decided to go in and take a look around. James and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. We wish we had gone here first. I highly recommend this golf mart and will be shopping here from here on out.
Good customer services. I replaced my driver adapter for my driver todat and they replaced for free since i m the customer. đź‘Ť

Called ahead to take a set of left handed clubs for store credit . And they told me they would accept them . Nope! Drove over there they didn't even look at them . They said they don't accept sets.. I mean you could have said that over the phone but sure lets waste my time and yours . The store looks nice .. customer service gets a 2 star, they need training I understand sometimes people can be difficult but as an operations manager myself, this situation could of been handled way better .
I had a fantastic experience thanks to Marco! He took the time to walk me through all the options and answered every question I had! What stood out the most was that there was absolutely no pressure to buy, just genuine help and honest advice. It made the whole process easy and enjoyable. 10/10 Highly recommend!

I highly recommend the Golf Mart in Escondido! Scheduling a fitting was easy, and unlike other places, there was no sales pressure. I worked with Cam, and honestly, he gave me solid golf coaching advice without trying to sell me on new equipment. Instead, he focused on improving my technique and helping me get better with the gear I already owned. While I did need a few adjustments, the experience was truly invaluable.

I returned a Cobra SW that had somehow broken in half.
Within a couple weeks I received a new Cobra SW with great communication from employees letting me know status along the way.
What a wonderful surprise!
I definitely will shop at The Golf Mart Escondido in the future.

Great experience at the Escondido Golf Mart today. Vic and the other fellas were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Good prices and low traffic. In other words, I was able to test a bunch of clubs on the simulator without waiting in line. I was especially impressed with how tidy the store was. I will definitely shop there again.
