I recently visited Golf Mart in Carlsbad as a newcomer to the world of golf, and my experience was fantastic from start to finish. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by the choices for a starter club set, I was fortunate to have Dan assist me. He patiently spent 45 minutes with me as a walk-in customer, taking the time to try several different clubs on the range to find the perfect fit. His expertise and patience made a huge difference.
On returning, I was helped by Jordan, the general manager. Jordan was incredibly attentive and eager to answer any questions I had, ensuring I felt confident and satisfied with my selections. His dedication to customer satisfaction is evident, and it made my experience truly exceptional.
I've recommended Golf Mart Carlsbad to friends, particularly for the outstanding staff and customer service. Both Dan and Jordan made my introduction to golf enjoyable and stress-free.
Walked in. Had a great time. Looked around. Tried a lot of equipment. Was in the simulator for about an hour. No one bugged me. No high pressure salesman. Just people helping you when you needed their help. In the end I was even able to negotiate a fair deal for a hybrid and it's working great on the golf course. And if it doesn't, I have 90 days to go and exchange it for a club that does so you can't beat this deal. This is basically Roger Dunn. I think they're the same family

I had a great experience at this shop, John really helped me out, he probably gave me the best customer service I’ve ever had in any shops, he was very nice and even gave me advices on my swings, he helped me find the right clubs for me since I am a beginner at golf, he was completely honest with the products I should get, he basically guided me through the whole process, I am definitely coming back to acquire more products the whole crew was very polite, would definitely recommend this place to anyone, from beginner to pro level players. Kudos John 🤙🏼
Huge store with a lot of selections but a few used clubs just wish they were more left-handed golf clubs but that's the problem across the board

Just wrote a review, but believed I left it for Escondido store. Crew there is great, but normally shop at SD store in Mission Valley.
I have had a few warranty issues with some purchases lately and I have had truly the best experiences, with professional and timely help and no added fuss or stress. Simply amazing. Thanks to all!!

I bought a set of TaylorMade golf clubs at this store over 23 years ago. My wedge got a ding in it my first time out and they let me trade the set in on a different set. I chose a set of Wilson Fat Fhafts and they served me very well for over 20 years. I went again today to buy a used set of ladies clubs for my fiance and though there weren't many options there was an excellent deal on an incomplete used set of Ladies Edge Tour Edge clubs and stand bag. I ended up with a great deal for some excellent clubs and even though it's a few clubs short of a full set, no pun intended, it was a great buy. Only four stars because of a lack of inexpensive options but if you shop wisely, they are there to be found.

I been looking for a new driver for
Over 1 month I stop several times at the store and try different drivers and brands just not to find anything different, today I stop again but it was a huge difference talking to John Aquino, he ask me a couple of questions, analyze my swing and speed and came down with 3 options I try them all and I just got everything I was looking for in a Ping G440! I took him 30 min to find the right driver for me when I was trying back and forward drivers for months !

Yesterday i stop at golf mart with my wife looking for a new driver that might gave me more distance, i was lucky to run into Grant a golf mart staff member that guide me on shaft, speed, stand and even swing to get a better contact and proper distance, it make a lot of difference to get his input rather than me just shooting balls to the screen, Thanks Grant you make our visit very pleasant
went to get fitted, grant took care of me. He was very patient and i was hitting it really poorly that day, he was honest and told me that i was better of coming back another day that i feel more comfortable with my game. I never felt as i was getting push to buy something that i didn't need.

Great place made even greater by the staff! And by great staff, it doesn’t get any better than Scott O!!!! Make sure if you’re getting fit anywhere to give him a chance first! He’ll have you hitting bombs, hitting greens, just dialed in!!!!!!!

Did my first ever fitting with John at The Golf Mart for an iron set and was a pleasure to work with him. Really knows his stuff and does not push an upsell on you, he truly wants the best for your game. Even when I come back without a scheduled fitting he is more than willing to make recommendations and help out with different shafts, settings, etc.
Even though this shop is a little out of the way for me will be sure to schedule all my fittings and all my new clubs with John in the future.
