As a beginner golfer, and not being entirely versed in what goes into a fitting, I would like to share my first fitting experience at Edwin Watts. I spoke with Mr. Jon Rossler nearly a month before my fitting, and he was very eager to listen to my brand requests and goals for my scheduled fitting. Upon arriving at the store, I was greeted by Mr. Jon, who immediately took my bag and set me up at a bay. I will be transparent: my swing was not the best on this day, but Jon was patient and took his time while I got some kinks worked out prior to my fitting start. He had my brand requests ready to go when I was warmed up and studied my statistics as I made some good swings. Jon worked with me to ensure I was fitted with the correct shafts and clubs when the data showed what I needed. At the end of my session, Jon assured me that if I had any troubles or did not like my selection, he would be happy to see me again to help out however he could. I wish I could provide some more technical feedback, but as a beginner, I was beyond satisfied. The selection in-store was on par, if not better than any big brand store you will find. I would recommend coming to Edwin Watts for a fitting or just to get a new set. I will for sure be back to this location for my next set.
