On Friday August 8th I walked into the Roger Dunn’s in Mission Viejo and got a friendly greeting from who from who I thought was the greeter or security. I came in looking for a pair of shoes.while in the shoe department the same gentleman that greeted me (John) asked me if he could help me.He asked me some questions regarding what kind of shoes that I was looking for.Then showed me some shoes on the wall, I did choose a pair and he brought them out for me. However as I was trying them on he brought out two more pairs of similar shoes that were from different brands to show me.WOW what service all for only $125 pair of shoes.Great Customer Service. I did buy the shoes, and will be back, good to see this kind of service. Thanks.

My ongoing visits to Roger Dunn in Mission Viejo have left me with a lot to commend. As someone involved in high-level corporate sales, I appreciate businesses that exhibit deep expertise, communicate effectively, and treat customers like individuals instead of mere statistics. Christian leads by example, with his team, including Jordan, matching his high standards. It's a pleasure to enter a store where the staff recognizes you and picks up on past discussions, even those from weeks or months back. Though I can't criticize the Santa Ana store, there's not much standout there except for Tim, who is very knowledgeable and excels at club fitting. Richard at the Mission location is equally impressive. For a singular or multiple golf-related purchases, this store is a hidden treasure worth visiting. You've earned both my business and respect.

Careful!!!! If you go, you MIGHT find something you like at a great price.
Went in to pick up new spikes, the guys were so cool! They removed my old worn spikes, cleaned up my shoes and replaced the spikes, all while listening to my golf stories! Also got new batteries for my range finder. The Tuesday morning guys were awesome!!!

Always great service. Went to a Cobra fitting event and got incredible service. Was not expecting to buy a club and I did, experience was the main reason.

I hate to even leave a review, but after wandering the store for 45 minutes, the only person to say hi to me was a customer. I am from out of town and walked in with the intention of picking up a few wedges, a pair of shoes and a new bag. They were a little busy so I waited patiently. 2 other people were helped by the shoes while I was there waiting. An employee walked by me while I was picking up bags and comparing them myself. Then not a single employee acknowledged me while I was sorting through wedges to purchase. Oh well, guess I'm on my way another golf shop. Bummed too because they actually had a good selection of bags, but they won't get a dime from me now.
Edit- This review was 6 years ago. Since then, I have used them a lot for service, purchased clubs, and bags for my daughters. It definitely feels like it was a one off employee issue that day, and since then I have bene nothing but happy with them.

Eric is the MVP. Great Club Fitter and overall great guy. Do yourself a favor and go in and get yourself setup with Eric. Helped me pick the right driver and took the time getting me set up with the right shaft and right driver setup. We need more Eric’s in these golf shops; he’s reliable and won’t try and sell you on something that’s not right for your swing. I’ll be playing better golf because of that guy. Management, give him some recognition for me.

A smaller sized Roger Dunns that has what you’d expect from a golf shop, just don’t come in expecting the warehouse experience you usually get at Roger Dunns.
I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to Richard at the Mission Viejo store, due to the time and effort he spent with me over the course of a two day process to purchase a new set of golf clubs. My second set from Roger Dunn.
Richard was not only very helpful but he has a tremendous amount of knowledge about any set of clubs anyone would have a question about. He was very patient and explained the difference between the clubs I narrowed my choices down to and after hitting a number of balls and reviewed the screen data with me, the choice for me was clear.
I ended up getting the Calloway Smoke driver, a very nice used in excellent condition thanks to Richard, Taylor Made 3 rescue and a new set of Calloway APEX 300 series irons.
I highly recommend Richard for any questions you may have about a new set of clubs you may be seeking.

Brand new to golf, came in looking for a used set, big range to choose from, we were able to test some candidates at the practice area, found a very high quality set at an excellent price, staff were very helpful, very happy with everything.
Great experience today. For some reason they have way better prices than the one in Santa Ana. Friendly staff found a putter for my daughter not much for used lefty but I’ll check back agin soon.
Spoke to Chase on the phone just now and he was unbelievably helpful and patient with me. He she’d a little light on my current dilemma and made a phenomenal suggestion. If RD isn’t paying this man millions they should….maybe not always but at least once.
